We are happy to announce the initial MODXpo 2013 Schedule. This year's lineup of speakers and talks is outstanding. We sincerely hope that you will learn many new things, deepen your understanding of building the web with MODX, and be inspired of what's next.
Highlights of this year's schedule include MODX Co-founder, Ryan Thrash, offering his State of MODX. In his keynote, Ryan will share details of the past year, current activities and what's to come in the future, along with number of surprises and reveals.
Community sage and grandmother, Susan Ottwell (sottwell) will return to help get MODX beginners off on the right foot. Former MODXer, designer and speaker, Anselm Hannemann will detail the five things you need for responsive development. Gauke Pieter Sietzma, CTO of Dutch MODX agency Sterc, will share all the things they did wrong with MODX, so you don't have to, in his Fail Compilation. Other great talks with include Chris Cherrett's Continuous Integration with MODX; and, Advanced Caching and Scaling with Charles Sanders (charlesmx).
Not only will there be stellar keynotes, you'll get hands-on and in-depth, in workshops including MODX Cloud 2.0 wherein MODX Cloud Lead, Mike Schell, will discuss what's new, what's coming and tips, tricks and example workflows. MODXpo alum, Bert Oost, will show you how to extend the MODX user in his lunchtime workshop.
